BOBBY VEE
Bobby Vee (born Robert Thomas Velline; April 30, 1943) is an American pop singer who was a teen idol in the early 1960s. According to Billboard, Vee has had 38 Hot 100 chart hits, 10 of which hit the Top 20. (More from Wikipedia)
Bobby Vee (not to be confused with Bobby Vinton) launched a successful musical career by taking Buddy Holly’s place in the Winter Dance Party tour. Holly’s influence is clear in Bobby Vee songs like “Rubber Ball” and “Run to Him”.
