SMOKIN’ IN THE BOYS ROOM
“Smokin’ in the Boys Room” is a song originally recorded by Brownsville Station in 1973 on their album Yeah!. It reached #3 in Canada and on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It also reached No. 2 on the Cash Box Top 100. The song became a Gold record. Through their connections with the Michigan rock band Brownsville Station – best known for their 1973 hit “Smokin’ in the Boys Room” – Blackfoot recorded their most successful album Strikes in 1979. The album was engineered by the drummer for Brownsville Station, Henry Weck and was produced by their manager, Al Nalli.
