Headpins – Line of Fire (1983):  Headpins is a spinoff band that was formed by Ab Bryant and Brian MacLeod of the long-lived Canadian rock band Chilliwack; the other founding bandmembers were Matt Frenette and vocalist Denise McCann (who later became known as the “Disco Queen of Canada”).  The album producer is shown as Brian “Too Loud” MacLeodAb Bryant and Brian MacLeod left Chilliwack around the time that Line of Fire came out.  Line of Fire is Headpins’ second album and features replacement vocalist Darby Mills.  “Just One More Time” was a minor hit for the band; the remaining songs feature Mills’ strong vocals backed by an accomplished hard rock band.
