FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH
“For What It’s Worth” is a song written by Stephen Stills. It was performed by Buffalo Springfield, recorded on December 5, 1966, and released as a single in January 1967; it was later added to the re-release of their first album, Buffalo Springfield. The single peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Buffalo Springfield released three fine albums and a topical hit single that still gets a lot of radio play, “For What it’s Worth”; another Stephen Stills song on Buffalo Springfield, their debut album, “Sit Down, I Think I Love You” was a hit for the Mojo Men in 1967.
