ANNA VISSI
Anna Vissi (born 20 December 1957), also known as Anna Vishy, is a Greek recording artist and actress. Born in Cyprus, she studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, Greece in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens. In 2010, Alpha TV ranked Vissi as the second top-certified female artist in Greece in the phonographic era (since 1960), behind Haris Alexiou, while Forbes listed her as the 15th most powerful and influential celebrity in Greece and fourth highest ranked singer. Without question, Patrick Leonard is the most prominent ex-bandmember of Trillion and is primarily known as a keyboard player, producer and songwriter in the early part of Madonna’s career. Other rock artists that Leonard has worked with over the years literally reads like a Who’s Who: Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Ted Nugent, Bryan Adams, Kenny Loggins, Peter Cetera, Jody Watley, Natalie Imbruglia, and Natasha Bedingfield. Showing his flexibility, he also co-wrote and produced two of the songs (including the title song, and both in Greek) for an album for Cypriot Greek pop musician Anna Vissi, Apagorevmeno (2008); and co-wrote a song for new age musician David Darling, “96 Years”.
The newest member of Trillion, CJ Vanston also worked with Patrick Leonard on the Anna Vissi album referenced previously, Apagorevmeno.
