WHO'S THAT GIRL

"Who's That Girl"  is a song by American recording artist Madonna from the soundtrack album of the motion picture of same name.  It was released on June 30, 1987, by Sire Records as the first single from the album.  While shooting for the film, then called Slammer, Madonna had requested Patrick Leonard to develop an uptempo song that captured the nature of her film persona.  The song became Madonna's sixth single to top the Billboard Hot 100, and it was also nominated for "Best Song From A Motion Picture" at the 1988 Grammy Awards and "Best Original Song" at the 1988 Golden Globe Awards.  (More from Wikipedia)

Without question, Patrick Leonard is the most prominent ex-bandmember of Trillion and is primarily known as a keyboard player, producer and songwriter in the early part of Madonna's career.  He was also heavily involved with two soundtrack albums for Who's That Girl and Dick Tracy that were released in the same time period, Who's That Girl and I'm Breathless: Music from and Inspired by the Film Dick Tracy
