The Radiators – Law of the Fish (1987): The Radiators were formed in New Orleans in early 1978 and serve up a rich mix of roots rock, funk, R&B, and other musical forms. Gradually building up a local following, the Radiators were the most popular rock band in the Crescent City by the late 1980’s. They became known for their powerful live shows featuring extended jams that often ran for three hours. The reputation of the Radiators was enlarged into something of a regional and even national following due to their popular appearances at the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and several of their concerts there have been released as albums over the years. The Radiators were signed by Epic Records in 1987, and Law of the Fish is their first album for Epic and fourth album overall, showcasing these accomplished musicians at their best.
