MTV’s Rock ’n Roll to Go (Various Artists) (1985):  This selection of songs is taken from the music videos being shown on the premier rock-video network MTV; at that point in time, there were other channels showing rock videos, though MTV and their sister channel VH1 eventually pushed away everybody else.  Artists represented on MTV’s Rock ’n Roll to Go include Madonna, Tina Turner, Thompson Twins, Cyndi Lauper, KISS, Hall & Oates, and the Police.
