Michael Jackson – Thriller (1982):  Thriller is the sixth solo album by Michael Jackson and the largest selling album of all time, with an estimated 66 million in worldwide sales, notwithstanding some protestations that the Eagles have surpassed Thriller in album sales on a couple of releases.  As best I can tell, those claimed higher sales for the Eagles are based on Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) figures, which are strictly limited to U.S. sales.  Thriller is packed with Michael Jackson hit singles:  “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, “Wanna be Startin’ Somethin’ ”, “Human Nature”, “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)”, and the title song “Thriller” that was made into an audacious long-form music video.  The album also features “The Girl Is Mine”, a duet that Michael Jackson made with Paul McCartney.  Amazingly, these seven songs (all but two of the nine tracks on Thriller) individually made the Top Ten on the singles charts – more than any other album in history – with “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” being #1 hits.  Thriller almost single-handedly integrated MTV, among other feats, and established Michael Jackson as one of the greatest recording artists of all time.
