Fotomaker Album album cover

Fotomaker – Fotomaker (1978):  Fotomaker is a power pop band that was started by two former members of the Rascals, Gene Cornish (bass) and Dino Danelli (drums), who then recruited ex-Raspberries guitarist Wally Bryson, who had also been in the Choir.  The other bandmembers, guitarist/vocalist Lex Marchesi and keyboardist/vocalist Frankie Vinci, helped provide the excellent songwriting for the band.  Their debut album features a minor hit, “Where Have You Been All My Life”.  The cover photo grew out of a rather unsavory fad in this time period, where babies were photographed in glamour shots after heavy makeup was applied.  Fotomaker never really gained traction, unfortunately, but released two more albums before breaking up not two years later.
