Fool for the City album cover

Foghat – Fool for the City (1975):  Foghat was an American (and an American-style) blues-rock band, though the bandmembers were all from England, with three having been in the British blues-rock band Savoy Brown that had enjoyed considerable success in the U.S.  Fool for the City was Foghat’s fifth and most successful album, with two songs on Side 1, the title song “Fool for the City” and “Slow Ride” being massive radio hits.  Side 2 opens with a cover of the Robert Johnson classic “Terraplane Blues”; as I recall, “Terraplane Blues” was the only song that was a hit for Johnson during his all too brief lifetime (Robert Johnson is yet another member of the “27 Club”).
