London Bo Diddley Sessions album

Bo Diddley – The London Bo Diddley Sessions (1973):  Even though American R&B legends had given birth to the British Invasion, they (and most other American artists) were typically ignored by the record-buying public while that was going on, so Howlin’ Wolf, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley all had to go to London where they were still lionized.  Or so Chess Records would have you believe.  In any case, I have purchased some later albums by Chuck Berry and others when I could find them, and they never disappoint.  This album is all new music, as far as I can tell, and it certainly has a new sound compared to Bo Diddley’s earlier hits.
