Def Leppard – Pyromania (1983):  Building on the success of early British heavy metal bands like Deep Purple, and personifying the slick hard-rock sound that MTV was aiming for in its early years, Def Leppard’s Pyromania was the third album for this British heavy metal group and was a massive hit, selling over 10 million albums in the U.S. alone.  The album is loaded with MTV video hits like “Foolin’ ”, “Photograph”, “Rock of Ages”, and “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)”; and the other songs are just as enjoyable.
