Cuby and the Blizzards – Live (1981): Also known as Cuby + Blizzards (and sometimes using & and the spelling QB), Cuby and the Blizzards was a leading Dutch blues band that was active in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I might very well have purchased this album in Europe, since their albums are quite rare in this country. One of the biggest hits by Cuby and the Blizzards, “Window of My Eyes” (1968) was played over the ending credits of the 2010 George Clooney film, The American. This album, simply called Live is taken from a concert performance and consists of six songs, including a Muddy Waters song called “Country Boy”. This is not the same record as the 1968 album on Philips Records also called Live that has a different six songs.
