America – Hearts (1975): Unfairly dismissed as lightweight in comparison to other similar rock bands of the period like the Eagles and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the best of America’s music has held up at least as well as that of the other soft rock artists of that period. Hearts is their fifth album and includes one of America’s best-known songs that is now an oldies radio staple, “Sister Golden Hair”. Hearts was produced by George Martin, the legendary producer of nearly all of the music by the Beatles.
