The Los Angeles Times,  commonly referred to as the Times or LA Times, is a paid daily newspaper published in Los Angeles, California, since 1881.  It was the largest metropolitan newspaper in circulation in the United States in 2008 and the fourth most widely distributed newspaper in the country.  The Times is owned by tronc (formerly known as Tribune Publishing).  (More from Wikipedia)
 
 

The first part of Kim Fowley’s memoir came out in 2013, called The Lord of Garbage.  It covered the years through 1969.  The Los Angeles Times book critic David L. Ulin said that it “might be the weirdest rock ’n’ roll autobiography since . . . well, I can’t think of what.”
