Baby, I Love You

BABY, I LOVE YOU

“Baby, I Love You”  is a pop song originally recorded by The Ronettes in 1963.  The song was written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, and Phil Spector, and produced by Spector.  The single peaked at number twenty-four on both Billboard Hot 100 and Cashbox Hot 100, and peaked at number eleven on the UK Pop Chart.  (More from Wikipedia)

Their sound was heavily aligned with the girl group sound of the 1960’s; “Remember (Walking in the Sand) by the Shangri-Las and “Baby, I Love You” by the Ronettes are songs that the Passengers frequently covered in their concerts.  But mostly they played their own songs.
